This is an artist that someone told me about and I'm glad they did. I like how he crops his landscapes. They are powerful yet gentle, sublime in their way. They do have an edge of fear and the unknown in them.

Cratloe Woods (preliminary photographs)

These are prelimary photographs I took on my digital camera of Cratloe Woods (Co. Clare, Ireland) in preperation for going out with the medium format camera (Pentax 67). Unfortunately the medium format images weren't as sucessful for different reasons but i'll still put up one or two from the roll of film.
